With the SFG method, you add a handful every time you plant and work it in to provide nutrients. Think of it as nature's fertilizer. I won't add copious amouts to the top though, just where it's needed. Good luck and come on back!Sinfoniannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872247640329823856.post-72014080107194264222009-02-24T14:00:09.000-08:002009-02-24T14:00:09.000-08:00Do you plan on adding a couple inches of compost t...Do you plan on adding a couple inches of compost to your beds to get them ready for spring?Shannonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872247640329823856.post-81122156494655959812009-02-23T11:48:55.000-08:002009-02-23T11:48:55.000-08:00Hanging drywall is the worst, I renovated the main...Hanging drywall is the worst, I renovated the main floor about a year ago by myself, it was brutal.

Isn't it fun watching how other gardeners grow things. Also, something else the fan will do -- it really helps to prevent "damping off". I've had this problem with Chard seedlings before.

Can't wait to see your brother's setup too.Judyhttp://www.ft2garden.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872247640329823856.post-57156740910771348072009-02-22T23:38:30.000-08:002009-02-22T23:38:30.000-08:00Sinfonian, I planted my pre-sprouted pepper seeds ...Sinfonian, I planted my pre-sprouted pepper seeds two days a go, and nothing is showing yet...nada. I will need more than one though with all the seeds I plan on starting this year.Chiot's Runhttp://Chiotsrun.comnoreply@blogger.com
