P...I'm curious about where you live and garden? Predators in your yard with footprints of that span? Wow! I thought the bunnies and neighbor cats were a irritant.

I'm learning to garden bit by bit.

The trick I learned for keeping track of the seeds is craft store liquid paint pens and plastic knives and spoons.

Each time I plant seeds, I write on the plastic knife the date, kind of seed, seed company. Then, when the seeds come up I add that date. Also, somtimes I put good germination or poor germ to track how seeds from different companies produce. If I repot or transplant I add that date.

A plastic knife can hold a lot of information if you print on both sides. They become a permanent record, too.

We are having a week of 70-degree days with rain.
MarthaMartha/All the Dirt on Gardeninghttp://muskogeephoenixonline.com/blogs/MollyDay/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872247640329823856.post-83170599016906708912008-03-30T11:39:52.000-07:002008-03-30T11:39:52.000-07:00Thanks for commenting Martha. This time of year is exceptional by the bad weather we're experiencing.

I have a ton of plastic knives, and my wife may have liquid paint pens around for the crafts with the kids. Otherwise I've got Sharpies.

I just saw what looked like a feral cat family go through my yard not an hour ago. I shooed them away but I don't think that'll work. So much for preditor urine on cats.

I bet the rain plus germination heat is making for great growing weather, if you can keep the rain from washing out your seeds and seedlings.

Stop back by anytime and please let me hear your thoughts. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks!Sinfoniannoreply@blogger.com
